Meet Tarreka Garnett
Who is She
Tarreka Garnett, author of: The Sleepover, Rising Phoenix, and Melanites-The Origin, was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After graduating from Florida A&M University, with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, she went on to become an educator. For the last 16 years she has dedicated her life to advocating for and educating students in high poverty areas.
Tarreka has also dedicated her life to inspiring, influencing and supporting others as they work to change their lives and reach their highest potential.
